FAR
Infrared Sauna
Radiant heat is a form of energy that
heats objects without heating the air in between the objects.
Heat is transmitted by invisible waves of light, also known as
infrared. Infrared can only be seen with a special camera that
has the ability to capture the heating energy on film. An example
of infrared technology used in FAR saunas is the warmth we experience
from the sun. However, our saunas also provide this same heat
but without the sun’s harmful rays.
Picture yourself enjoying a warm sunny day than suddenly a cloud passes
over and obscures the sun. You suddenly feel cooler because the cloud
prevents the warming energy of the sun from reaching you, yet the temperature
has not dropped. This is an example of the principle that radiant heat
will heat objects and not the air.
